COMMENTS FROM THE POTTING SHED
EB you aren’t a bore of any kind, I find the weather interesting myself and intend to keep on with adding it to my blog when time allows. As you will notice I haven’t even had time to get together a few more Pennine Way pics either. I'm not certain but I think the Japanese garden was made by the present owners grand mother. As for working in the garden I don't know if you ever saw Startrek but to give you an idea of what its like I would liken it to being one of the crew on the Enterprise or similar. I don't have any say in which direction the garden is going but once I know I'm pretty much left alone as to how it gets there if you see what I mean. The boss has ideas on how he wants it to evolve and leaves me to organise my work schedule which I think is how it should be because he knows best what sort of garden and plants he likes and I know best when things need doing and how to fit them all in so they get done. Also the responsiblity is my motivation, if I was to just turn up in a morning and told what I had to do I would not feel responsible for the work getting done, it would just become a job to me if you see what I mean. As it is it's not really like work and in that sense its like doing my own garden, I take just as much pride in how it looks as you do with your garden. My aim is perfection even though I know I will never attain it.

Like EB, I've been curious about the japanese garden, as I love them myself. They are usually so serene. I'm not so sure many native Japanese plants would survive in my climate.

Gday Bob,You have had a full workload today, Ohhhh Im in love with the Wisteria When in full flower it is Beautiful. Two querey's What are mangetout and tayberry? please. I gather the Tayberry might be like a Blackberry?.. Have a great weekend

Tayberries are my favourite fruit. To me they're like huge blackberries only without the seeds, and juicier. And no thorns - but they are big lanky growers.

I love your scrutinizing, find myself stepping back once and a while and doing the same. (I think it is good for us to do in our lives on occasion ;-)

What is a tayberry?
