The Tree (December).
Today being the first of the month means that it's time for another picture of 'The Tree', this is of course the final picture of what seems like a journey of sorts. It makes me think of something I've heard said many times, 'I want to travel the world and see new things'. 'The Tree' hasn't moved an inch all year but I think you will agree it's seen many new things, and I bet if we followed it for another year it would not be the same as the last. Imagine how many changes it will see in it's life time.
This months picture is dark because that's the way we find it now when we pass by. I think it's fitting that as the night falls over our tree it also falls on our journey. I will shortly post news of the new journey so please look in again soon because hopefully it will be a journey we will share and enjoy together.

The Tree (October).
Below is the picture of 'The Tree' for October.
Here in parts of the UK the past week has been one of the warmest of the whole year so if feel kind of strange because the leaves are starting to turn, indeed some are even falling from the trees yet as you go about the work in the garden it is more like mid summer so it feels strange to be doing autumn jobs when the weather kidding me in to thinking I should still be doing summer work.

The Tree (September).
Below is a picture of 'The Tree' for September. As you can see the shadows are now getting longer as we slowly turn full circle, soon the leaves will be gone and maybe we will get one picture with snow on the ground before we say goodbye to the tree. In the field the old crop of oilseed rape is now nothing more than dead stalks waiting for the farmers plough to come and turn them under ready for the new crop to be born and so life in the field goes on year upon year and this is the world of the tree, it never moves yet it has seen many changes during its time on this earth.
