COMMENTS FROM THE POTTING SHED
Sara Ha ha - don't worry, Tippy is very forgiving. The motorway that the bridge spans was created in the late 1960s after the route of the Pennine Way was approved so the bridge had to be build especially to accommodate the trail.

The Weaver of Grass You're right about the sun, the picture was taken yesterday which was a nice sunny day unlike today which has been grey, damp and cold. Yes I did have a sweet lunch didnt I, I needed the energy to keep me warm!

How do you keep control of the wretched vine weevil - it can absolutely decimate a plant, can't it?
You sound to be having similar weather to us - forecast is for it getting warmer and damper tonight - not sure which weather I like best but do feel that the hard frost probably gets rid of a few pests - particularly slugs eggs.
