Enjoyed finding this, trying to guess where the hedges are! Just on a two night mini break from Welsh Borders up to see Alnwick Gardens - did not disappoint. Spent a lovely time in a souless B&B room glancing at the blogs you follow. Needless to say longing to get back to my garden now. Want to try out some standard umbrella "pleaches" like I saw at Alnwick, must make sure the whip doesn't get as high as hedges you are dealing with.
