Tess Is Much improved.

13:12pm
I am pleased to be able to report the Tess is returning to her normal self. We took her to see the vet last night and she seemed to think that she had caught a bug from somewhere so she has prescribed some tablets for her although she hardly seems to need them to be honest as she is back to eating and bouncing off the walls.

Most of today has been spent raking up leaves. I'm a bit behind with this job due to the leaves hanging on for such a long time this year.

Just watching the last episode in this series of Ripper Street. This has once again proved to be good if a little violent at times viewing.

Glad to hear that tess is doing better. I still have leaves to clean up. Too bad they're buried under 15 inches of snow!

Snow makes all gardens look good so I wouldn't worry. We have been enjoying mild weather for the time of year, hardly any frost to speak of let alone snow.

I just trundled all my leaves to the upper kitchen garden yesterday, they are at least a foot deep and will be tilled in next spring. So happy it was good news for Tess.

That's interesting that you do that with the leaves Doc, I've often wondered about doing this myself but have never heard of it being done until you mention it. The so called experts never talk of adding leaves straight to the soil so I have never done it for fear it was bad practice or that it could cause problems that I'm not aware of. When I was learning my trade where possible we would lose them in and around the shrub borders. It seems such a waste to just dump them and I nowhere really to store them while they rot.

Glad Tess is doing better. Sweet Tommy, what a faithful good friend he is to you. Glad you are willing to help him, as he has helped you over the years. Such friends God has given us in our dogs.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful relaxing time of break from your normal routines. Sending our love!

Yes that is right Kimmie. The way me and Tommy came together was I think arranged by God, the relationship we have has always felt special so I don't mind looking after him, it just makes it hard if I'm up in the night and then have to be up early and do a days work.
