One thing I miss.

People have asked me many time if the is anything I miss from my farming days, and apart from the big boys toys I had to play with I have to tell them there is little else I really miss. Then this morning as I was shaking out the sheep's hay I recalled something else I miss, a barn full of newly baled hay. Anyone who has walked by a barn full of new hay will know what I mean, I think the smell is as good as anything there is. I wish someone would produce a scented candle the that smells of new hay - maybe I should make one.

I'm looking forward to your new mown hay candle...I agree there's nothing better then that wonderful smell. Raking it, baling it and getting it in the barn...fun!

LOL. I'm surprised they haven't come up with that candle yet...they seem to have every other smell!

I know what you mean. I was raised on a Manitoba farm in the Red River Valley. It has a wonderful aroma.
