See to the sheep

Notes: Shuck the hay up in the feeder, they eat the hay from both sides and then can't reach what's left in the middle.
Checked and counted the sheep.
Took the ice off the water trough.
See to the greenhouses

Notes: Moved some peas and beans from the hotbox to the cool greenhouse.
Watered a few things that needed it.

Notes: Went to Doncaster to take in the veg seed order and get a pruning saw for the boss. Brought back the seed potatoes and some carrot and pea seed that they weight out in the shop. The rest of the order is made up of Sutton's seeds and will be posted on to me later.

Notes: Made a start on giving the four half barrel planters from the courtyard a coat of white paint. I got three of them done.

It seems like it was just yesterday you were painting the barrels for last year! Tommy is look very fit, good to see him!
Tommy looks very happy despite being wet.
And now I have to google Victoria sponge cake. ;-) Sounds good.

I think only twice in my life I've been near a babbling brook. The roar of moving water fills my ears...and the water is ALWAYS so refreshing, if not downright cold.
Theanne - I think it was around last April when I painted them last and because time was getting on I just gave them a couple of coats then so as yesterday was wet, cold and icy I got them in the potting shed and gave them another coat, it's also freshened them up a bit.
Nerima - It's hard to imagine that anyone has only seen a stream a couple of times during their life, I guess I need to appreciate more how lucky I am.
