Rob,
I think only twice in my life I've been near a babbling brook. The roar of moving water fills my ears...and the water is ALWAYS so refreshing, if not downright cold.

Theanne - I think it was around last April when I painted them last and because time was getting on I just gave them a couple of coats then so as yesterday was wet, cold and icy I got them in the potting shed and gave them another coat, it's also freshened them up a bit.

Nerima - It's hard to imagine that anyone has only seen a stream a couple of times during their life, I guess I need to appreciate more how lucky I am.
