Resting Under The Christmas Tree.

Boxing Day

Get up and dressed
09:30-09:45


Fed the dogs
09:45-09:55


Had breakfast
09:55-10:30
Had a bowl of Cornflakes and a cup of tea.


See to the fire
10:30-10:40
Raked over the coals.
Put on more coal.
Filled the coal bucket.


See to the sheep
10:40-11:00
Took across some hay.
Checked and counted the sheep.


Hangin about
11:00-12:00
My sisters family are due so no point starting anything so just mingled for a while.


Opening presents
12:00-12:45
My sister came to visit and with them came more presents to open.


Break for lunch
12:45-14:00
Had another Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.


Watching TV and talking.
14:00-15:45
We all sat in the sitting room, dozing off in front of the TV and talking about this and that.


Walking the dogs
15:45-16:30
Took Tommy and Tess out for a walk, my mum and sister also came. We went around the village.


Make a cup of tea.
16:30-16:40


Watched TV
16:45-17:45


Had dinner.
17:45-18:45
Everyone just had sandwiches, trifle and cake.


Said goodbye to everyone
18:45-19:00
My sister and brother in law took mum and dad home with them.


Watched TV
19:00-23:45


Got ready for bed.
23:45-23:55

A lovely day with family! And a nice walk around the village! I'm intrigued with you using coal to heat your home...I believe my parents last used coal in the late 40s then it was wood till the late 50s and oil in the 60s, back to wood in the 60s and to propane in the 80s! Today I believe the power plants are the main users of coal! Sweet photo!
