I always found it most satisfying to clean the greenhouse ready for the new season. Swilling it down and disinfecting and then leaving it sparkling and smelling "clean" - its a good feeling.
Where exactly does the water go underground to come out again at the foot of Malham Cove - I have always wondered. Like the photos.

The Weaver of Grass Well there is no big hole to swallow all the water up, it just soaks in to the ground, you can even walk on where it disappears and its solid enough, after that I suppose it just follows underground caves. I've actually amended what I said last night because in fact it doesn't come out at the bottom of the cove as you would think, instead this water emerges at Aire Head Springs. The water at the cove comes from the moor one and a half miles away.
