Fantastic! It's nice to read of someone doing what I would like to do - and will do next year, I'm determined. This year I'm sowing whatever I've got and they're all either several years past their sow-by date or are mind-bogglingly mixed colours that come free with a magazine I have a gift subscription to.

I'm a convert to petunias - I used to be snobbish about them but a couple of years ago I bought 2 tiny plants of them and they were great, with some of that lovely silvery furry plant - helichrysum I think it's called.
